USING CROSSBAR
When setting up your Crossbar account for the first time, please remember to use the same login as you will be using during registration! Crossbar has the following guides to setup your account, add family members, and use the Mobile App.
Note: for the 2025/2026 season, 8U families must update their payment information in Active.
TEAM COMMUNICATION
During the course of the season, parents may expect that the team coaches and team managers will maintain regular communication with them regarding practices, games, and other events.
In prior years, the AYHA allowed coaches and team managers to select third party messaging apps for communication with the teams. However, with the migration to Crossbar, all teams must utilize the Crossbar Mobile App. The Crossbar Mobile App is not only an add-free platform for team communication, but with a parent/family member's Crossbar login, AYHA schedules and calendars can also be accessed seamlessly, even if a family has multiple players on different teams. The Crossbar Mobile App will also enable the AYHA Board of Directors to more effectively communicate with families throughout the season.
A Note to 8U Families: for the 2025/2026 season, families registering their youth players for the 8U team will be required to use the legacy Active registration platform for one last year to pay fees. However, once their player has been registered in the Active system, families will be able to register in Crossbar again at no cost to utilize all of the communication and schedule benefits of the Mobile App.
