CBJ Foundation Announces 2024/2025 Grants
This past October, the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation announced the investment of $1.1 million in grants for local charitable organizations and youth hockey organizations. This year's grants were awarded to 27 central Ohio-based non-profits working in areas of health and safety, education, pediatric cancer, and the development of youth hockey.
AYHA President, Jennifer McKinney, attended the CBJ Foundation's grant reception to accept the generous contribution of $12,500. The AYHA primarily utilizes the grant award to assist families who request playerships, which is aid for youth hockey players who might not otherwise be able to play ice hockey due to financial circumstances.
The Athens Youth Hockey Association greatly appreciates the continued support of the CBJ Foundation and all their efforts to support youth hockey development in southeast Ohio. Please visit the CBJ Foundation press release for more information at the link below.
